You only need to add in tool changes once to create a file that can be used forever. They developed this, needed a userbase, made everything cloud based, got us on board, and it was the plan all along to cut us off to make us the post again. And their response to the insane amount of criticism says a lot: That don't give a **** about us. I will never pay for this program and anyone I know looking to get into CNC I will steer far away from this ****show of a company. But by locking basic functioning features after everyones gotten used to the program is ****ing nasty. Or developing a new feature for once and putting it in the paid version. How about locking actual advanced features that are actually used by the commercial abusers and not hobbyists. It's literally like if Elon musk limited everyones teslas to 10mph unless they paid. But that isnt even the worst thing, the fact that they're artificially increasing the time it takes us to make things by removing rapid movement is just mind blowing. So yeah it's a bit annoying to have to change the feed rate on each action, but once it's done, it's done.įor me, i need to do it every single time i make something because I'm not mass producing. Plus, once again, once a setup is made once for an items thats meant to be mass produced, it never needs to be done again, you can just run that gcode file on repeat til you die. You can change the feed rate and stuff for a toolpath after you select the tool and process them both in the same file, it only takes 3 seconds to change the feedrate and could be reduced to 1 second with a macro.
